Panelists offer insights, tips, and strategies they've learned from personal experience traveling and working after a PH diagnosis. Being able to prepare for interviews, handle work schedules, and arrange for travel are new hurdles for newly diagnosed PH patients. But they can be managed with preparedness skills and the inside scoop!

During this webinar, Mr. Voner presented a patient story to highlight the unique ways men can experience diagnosis and living with PH. Audience members will learn how PH and the different treatment options can affect them physically and will also come away with a better understanding of how PH may impact others facets of their lives. Finally, strategies will be presented to help men with PH learn to adapt to these physical, mental and social challenges.

During this webinar, Amy Kimber, RN, APNP, from Froedtert and the Medical College of Wisconsin and Dr. Ioana Preston from Tufts University School of Medicine addressed ways that a pulmonary hypertension (PH) diagnosis can affect a woman’s personal life, identity relationships with others and how they can navigate these changes. Everyone experiences uncertainty and changes with their body image as well as emotional and sexual relationships. Adding a chronic medical illness can be challenging, so women should know that they can take control and be empowered in their lives. Discussion covered how you can better recognize thoughts and feelings about these changes and how to become comfortable in your skin with PH.
